Photography & Film Studio
The Light Barn has an interesting history. It was originally converted into a photographic studio by its previous owner with the vision of providing a beautiful environment for world-renowned Vogue photographer, David Bailey, to shoot some of his campaigns. Over the years, it has hosted numerous campaigns, including memorable ones for Armani, establishing itself as a sought-after location for filmmakers and photographers drawn to its spacious, light-filled interior and scenic location in Cornwall’s Camel Valley.
Surrounded by a large garden featuring a pond, orchard, expansive lawn, and wilded areas, the studio offers an enchanting backdrop for photography and film shoots. Inside, the studio is equipped with a fully functional kitchen, ideal for food shoots and meal preparation, along with a large wood burner, bar area, and rest room.
The courtyard provides comfortable seating areas, both covered and uncovered, perfect for breaks or outdoor gatherings. Additionally, catering services are available upon request, ensuring a seamless experience for all guests and crew.
